The best synthetic oil for all your engines

At Superior Synthetics LLC we care for your vehicle and your safety, car breakdowns and specially engine problems are more common that we think so we would like to share some of the most common reasons for car breakdowns and some advices to keep your engine at its best.

Top Reasons for Car Breakdowns

It's difficult to visually assess the condition of your battery, so make sure to get it inspected during the service. Keep in mind that the terminals should be clean and the clamps properly adjusted. Also, remember that the average lifespan of a battery is 3-5 years.

You should also make sure your cooling system is in great condition. Look for any coolant leaks and check the condition of the radiator. Also, remember that fresh oil will remove heat from your engine while keeping it clean.

Flat Tires

Properly inflated tires are the first step towards preventing uneven wear and decreased handling. Remember that there can also be foreign objects on the road that can damage your tires, so make sure your spare is in good condition and have the right tools to change a tire in your trunk. Regular maintenance and careful driving can reduce the risk of  most breakdowns, so be sure to read your owner's manual to find out more about the specific cares that your vehicle requires.

Now, if you are worried about your engine, it’s important for the health of your car that you check your car's fluids regularly. Of all the fluids inside your vehicle, transmission fluid is one of the most important. This special type of fluid helps keep your car's automatic or manual transmission cool and lubricated. Driving with low or dirty fluid inside the transmission can cause wear and tear leading to costly repairs. To keep your transmission running strong, and learn more about the importance of transmission fluid in your engine we have some advice for you.

Time for a Change

Regardless of whether you have a manual or automatic transmission, you will need to change the transmission fluid according to the service schedule in your owner's manual. Automatic transmission fluid should be changed every 60,000 to 100,000 miles, while manual transmission fluid needs to be changed about twice as frequently, or every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. Over time, the fluid inside a transmission degrades and breaks down. Eventually, old fluids cease to keep all of the moving parts inside the transmission lubricated, which increases the amount of wear and tear on the transmission itself. Old transmission fluid also becomes contaminated with metal particles that can shorten transmission life.

Between Transmission Fluid Changes

Just because you can go upwards of 100,000 miles without needing to change your transmission fluid, you should get in the habit of checking your transmission fluid regularly between service. Check the transmission fluid at least once a month. Lookout for leaks. If you notice that your vehicle is leaking transmission fluid, take it to a transmission service shop right away to have the problem diagnosed and repaired before it causes a bigger issue. If you are looking for the best prices and quality Superior Synthetics LLC is here to help you with the best AMSOIL Synthetic Oil for all your engines.
